How to install Official ClockworkMod Touch Recovery v6.0.2.8 on HTC One

Everyone, absolutely everyone was both stunned and amazed when HTC brought out HTC One into the market. Packed with Qualcomm APQ8064T Snapdragon 600 CHPISET, numerous UI changes along with features such as Ultrapixel, HTC Boom Sound, HTC Blink feed and a myriad other things, the HTC One really packs a punch. And how possibly could development have been left behind on this amazing device. Xda Recognized contributor Flyhalf205 has released CWM Touch and also TWRP for it in such a short time. It is official and also has OTG feature. So, here we go with the instructions to  install Official ClockworkMod Touch Recovery v6.0.2.8 on your HTC One.

Installation Process

1.Download the CWM   Recovery v6.0.2.8

  • Touch Version from  here
  • Classic (without touch) from here
2.Unlock your HTC One’s bootloader at http://www.htcdev.com/bootloader
3.Get your phone into fastboot mode.
4.Open cmd in the folder where you have pasted boot.img (the file downloaded earlier) and type ” fastboot flash recovery recovery.img“
                 or
5.You can use ROM Manager from playstore. But for this you need to be rooted. So, heres how to root your HTC One
  • How to root HTC One
In order to root stock ROM, flash recovery in fastboot then flash this inside of recovery. There are two root programs. Superuser and SuperSU. Both are given below.

      No, you need to unlock your bootloader.

    AT&T bootloader can currently be unlocked via HTCDev. I just did it.
