Cyanogenmod 10 (Jellybean) Preview Build for Galaxy Mini 2/Pop plus GT-S6500

Can it get bigger than this?Cyanogenmod 10 based on Jellybean is finally out for Galaxy mini 2 aka jena and mark my words it’s great.It has a few major bugs right now such as bluetooth and camera not working but they will be fixed soon.Looking at the brighter side it has things like wifi, gps and others working!Its real smooth as Jellybean Roms ought to be.It is only a preview and experimental build right now and is NOT to be used as a daily driver right now.Xda senior member TheWhisp has done an exceptionally amazing work to make this for mini 2 users. So, here are the screenshots and the flashing instructions…

* Wi-Fi
* Touchscreen
* Touch keys
* Multitouch
* Audio
* ADB
* Mounting of internal/external storage
* UMS
* Keypad lights
* Brightness control
* Vibrator
* Deep sleep
* GPS
* Sensors (all)

What’s not working:

* Camera
* Bluetooth
* Wi-Fi AP

 

Disclaimer : Do It At Your Own Risk!

We presume that this is NOT the first rom you are flashing on your mini 2 and you have clockworkmod recovery installed.So here it goes.

Download required files and updates from below :

  • the ROM from here
  1. Copy the downloaded files to the (Root directory of) your sd-card.
  2. Reboot your device to Custom Revovery (power + home + volume up + volume down).
  3. [Optional but, Recommended] Do a Nandroid Backup of your current ROM.
  4. Now from recovery main menu and select Wipe Data option.
  5. Confirm data wipe by selecting Yes.
  6. Now flash this android JB based cyanogenmod 10 rom using clockwork mod recovery. Follow these steps :
    • Choose Install Zip From Sd Card option.
    • Select Choose Zip From SD Card option.
    • Now select cm-10-20130306-EXPERIMENTAL-jena.zip downloaded earlier.
    • Confirm the installation and wait till the rom is installed on you handset.
  7. Now wipe data again
  8. Wipe cache.
  9. Then wipe dalvik cache.
  10. Reboot and enjoy!

    Yo Im back again i want to install JB 4.1 cyanogenmod but my phone isnt working at all only download mode is working but recovery mode not any help?

    the samsung logo comes and then it freezes 4 times and restarts again and again….

          @harrysantika just resore the whole backup..your contacts will be automatically restored..then backup your contacts by super backup and flash rom and then restore only contacts by super backup :)

    hey i want to know whts wrong cz every time i try to flash this rom i get installation aborted error i toggle both the signed and asserts but still it wount flash much help needed
